Your email address

When you ask for the study, we keep your email address, the date you signed up, and whether you ticked the box asking to hear when new weeks are ready. That's all the form collects.

We use it to send you the link to the study and, only if you ticked the box, a short note when each new week is ready. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to anything else.

The list is kept with Amazon Web Services, which sends the emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted entirely, write to study@bitcoinbiblestudy.com.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are (country and city), what device and browser they use, how they found the site, and whether the signup form was used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell new visits from return ones.

Your email address is never sent to Google. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. You can block Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or with your browser's own tracking protection.

Amazon links

The study's reading list links its books to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Those links pass through a page on this site (/go/) that sends you on to Amazon, and Google Analytics counts the click. What you do on Amazon is covered by Amazon's own privacy notice, and Amazon may set its own cookies.

The tools

The tools under /tools/ run in your browser, and nothing you type into them is sent to us. Google Analytics counts that a tool was used, not what you entered. The bitcoin supply clock asks mempool.space, a public Bitcoin explorer, for the latest block number, so mempool.space sees your visit the way any website does.

Email you send us

Mail to study@bitcoinbiblestudy.com, including replies to the study email, is forwarded to the person who runs this site and kept like any other email.
